Haili's vintage look

Haili turns heads...
I am a teacher by day and pin up, rockabilly vixen by night! I love anything 1950s or horror themed. Cherries, tattoos, skulls and polka dots are a staple of my wardrobe.

I have a massive weakness for hats and anything kitsch and quirky. I get most of my clothes from the internet and spend hours trawling through charity shops for one off pieces.

The best thing about wearing vintage is that nobody ever has the same thing on! I also get a lot of clothes made and often customise things myself that need a bit of "punking" up.

My favourite designer brands are Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen but I also buy a lot of Irregular Choice and Iron Fist shoes. Tatty Devine is amazing for accessories.

I turn heads all the time whenever I walk down the street and people are often surprised by the reaction I get...to be honest I love it as my motto for life really is that I would rather be remembered for something when I die...even if that is "what the hell was she wearing!"

I am obsessed with glamour to be honest and I cannot understand those people who go out of the house in pyjamas and Ugg boots. Every day should be a dress up day.

Lauren's vintage look

Featured Vintage Lover Lauren
I've attached a photo of me in one of my favourite vintage dresses that I bought from a fantastic little vintage shop in oxford called Reign.

I love to try and be on trend yet I love to be unique too. Vintage clothes give me the prefect balance of both - This seasons trends but with a one off feel at a fraction of the high street price.

One of my favourite pieces at the moment is an american red vintage jocks jacket - right on the americana trend yet utterly unique.

Love the shop. I have my eye on that beautiful green military jacket.

Lots of love

I'm in love with everything about Vintage - there's something about finding a unique piece in a small hidden away vintage shop that makes me feel accomplished! haha.

I hate looking exactly the same as everyone else and so vintage pieces, even subtle ones, can make something ordinary into something really intriguing. At heart, I'm really all about taking a simple look and mixing things up with vintage accessories - I absolutely adore vintage jewellery, scalves, hats, belts and bags!

Since being a young teenager I would always scour the local charity shops looking for items that I knew no-one else would have - I hated that everyone looked and dressed the same and vintage was a way for me to express myself creatively.

This is one of my favourite outfits, in a little posey, photos of me! I love the vintage floral print on the playsuit - even though it was actually bought in Primark! I've mixed it up with a vintage belt I found in a tiny little vintage shop on the outskirts of Amsterdam and a pearl necklace, worn like a sash, which is from a stall in Camden Market. Though you can't see it clearly here, the pearl necklace has these gorgeous butterfly charms attached. I very rarely wear bracelets or bangles - but that's purely because I have the tiniest wrists on the planet and bangles always look HUGE on me.

After a while I realised that through blogging I could share my quirky love with the world - whenever I found a good shop, blog or online vintage store I would write about it and post my favourite pieces. From there, I've started to make my own collection of jewellery from vintage pendants, cameos and charms plus any interesting pieces I can get my hands on. I've always struggled to find really unique pendants and jewellery that don't come with a hefty price tag attached and what started as a project to make a few pieces for myself has fast become an obsession! I hope to have my collection for sale very soon. For that reason, I've chosen some of my favourite photographs of The Little Rachael Collection
